About the Summit
Located in scenic Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the base of the Rocky Mountains, the Santa Fe Trombone Summit is a multi-day trombone seminar providing a unique one-on-one, high intensity, select size Participant group allowing for an in depth and personal experience.
Hosted by the Santa Fe Trombones, Participants have the opportunity to play with and for all Faculty and Guest Artists in masterclasses, sectionals, quartet coachings and sit-ins. In addition, Auditors join Participants in warm up sessions, lectures, panel discussions, and select pieces in our trombone choir with a performance on the final concert.
To set us apart even more, attendees are invited to participate with the faculty in outdoor recreation opportunities in the Santa Fe area, along with team building events and group meals.
How to Attend
The Participant Class is open to a limited number of professionals and/or college students. As a Participant, you will work closely and personally with SFTS Faculty in masterclasses, quartet and section coachings and sit-ins, and perform on the final concert in the SFTS Trombone Choir.
